“ Delicious authentic tasting food! I haven't had a good lomo saltado in a long time and this place did it for me.Their quesadillas were packed with chicken. I'm always very picky with horchatas but the one here was S0O00 good & their margaritas... 10/10 everything. Our serves were very kind and attentive. The chips were freshly made. Will be going back for sure. ”
“ The chips are crisp and fresh made, the salsa has an excellent flavor and the right amount of spice, the hand made tortillas are soft and warm, and the tacos (while don’t hold the contents overly well) are exquisite — highly recommend this cute neighborhood spot! ”
“ We celebrated our anniversary here and enjoyed every bite! I had the carne guisada, tender meat, savory souce, I used my tortillas to clean my plate. Service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend this place. ”
“ I was craving some Guatemalan food after a recent trip to Guatemala so I scoped out this location and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was quite good and plentiful. The food portions were quite generous for the prices you get. The Pepian Guatemalteco was quite good and as good as what you get in Guatemala. The Lomo Saltado is quite good and has quite a large portion of food. The horchata drinks were amazing and very refreshing, though they have a strong cinnamony taste to them. It location has a very cozy atmosphere and reminds me of some homey Guatemalan spots I've been to. ”
“ A neighborhood restaurant with excellent Guatemalan food. This is a type of place that looks out for their neighbors and those in the neighborhood love them. Their prices are reasonable and the food is immaculate. I tried Pepian Guatemalteco which was delectable. My friend ordered the Lengua Guisada - beef tongue. I snuck a taste and it was fantastic! Go to their website if you want to see pictures of all of their dishes. The menu provided also signifies which dishes are Guatemalan. Overall I loved the experience and will definitely be a repeat customer. ”
“ This place is fantastic and a great value. Had the "Plato Típico Chapín" with the steak cooked medium rare. The meal was incredibly delicious. The meat was tender and full flavor. The salsa, salad, black beans, rice and pita bread that accompanied it were amazing too. For $20 (tax included), you can't beat it. It's a clean restaurant and the waitress was super nice. I will be coming here once a week. ”
“ Nice really nice small Guatemalan restaurant in the heart of Washington DC! Service was really good (one lady show) perfect. Waiting time was short! Food was great… Guate tamales extremely good… freshly fried chicken empanadas!! Guac n chips.. guac could be a bit more, true Guatemalan flavor… and crema… good crema! Yes Guatemala crema flavor! ”
“ I have eaten latin food around the world. It's the best bang for your buck, so I am thankful to find this hidden gem. I ordered a Chile Relleno (stuffed pepper), and it's the best one I have eaten. I would def come back here again if I am nearby and would recommend to everyone ”
